so I went to the clearbrook esso gas station in abbotsford bc,just past pearonville road. I was there for screamers on a 35 degree day(aug. 2, 2015 a approx. 6pm and the iced topping machine was empty.
now this location doesn't run its slushy machines till a little before noon as it is. Months ago I asked for a slushy in he morning on m way to work and the lady working told me that they don't turn the on till later.
Is that allowed in a franchise in Canada? why are they advertising screamers if you cant get any??
I was able to make two before the topping completely ran out. The man and lady running it refused to refill it when I asked because I have a family 4.They told me they wont fill it because it takes 15mi-half hour to set. I was happy to wait and they effused me anyway.
so I asked for the liquid to ad. I would be happy with the unset ceam even, since I had walked half an hour jut for an esso sreamer they still refused.
I joked to the owner and said that on a 30-35 degree day he should have it filled if he wants to make money and his reply was "i don't need money" omg I don't need money? I told him he shouldn't own a business then.
He was happy for me to leave and wanted me to leave our my dinks unpaid for. I paid anyway, for my kids sake. we got two screamers, 2 slushys & completely ripped off and treated very rudely by people running an esso who don't need money, so hey refuse to run they're machines. I wont go back t b treated that way when I was simply looking to buy a fun drink on a hot day. my husband will not buy anymore gas there because the owner doesn't need money. am also a hairstylist who will be telling every client to take their business elsewhere, because esso sells franchises to rude people who don't need money from Canadians.
They didn't bother to give me a receipt with the store number so I suggest u keep your money when in abbotsford. Due the false advertising at this esso...they don't need money anyway.
